Position Overview

A rapidly growing service-based operations company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to take full ownership of HR functions supporting a workforce of 130+ employees across multiple departments.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a strong HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate independently. The HR Manager will partner closely with leadership while driving recruitment, ensuring compliance, strengthening internal processes, and promoting accountability throughout the organization.

We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, solutions-oriented, and confident enforcing policies while maintaining a professional workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
  • Post job openings and maintain candidate pipelines
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications
  • Improve hiring quality and reduce turnover
  • Develop structured onboarding programs for new employees

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Act as primary HR contact for employee relations matters
  • Address workplace concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Draft employee write-ups, coaching plans, and disciplinary documentation
  • Support leadership with performance management and accountability standards
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies

Compliance & HR Administration

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Maintain HR policies, employee handbook updates, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation
  • Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements

Payroll, Attendance & Workforce Management

  • Oversee attendance tracking and timekeeping systems
  • Review payroll information for accuracy prior to processing
  • Monitor attendance trends, overtime, and workforce utilization
  • Ensure adherence to company attendance and scheduling policies

Process Improvement & Leadership Partnership

  • Partner with leadership to improve HR systems and workflows
  • Identify operational gaps and implement scalable HR processes
  • Promote professionalism, accountability, and strong workplace culture
  • Support organizational growth through structured HR practices

  • Strong, confident HR professional able to work independently
  • Experienced in employee relations, compliance, and workforce management
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • Comfortable enforcing policies and addressing issues professionally
  • Solutions-focused with strong follow-through
  • Able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a hands-on operational role
  • Experience supporting a workforce of 100+ employees preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment regulations
  • Proven recruitment experience (high-volume hiring preferred)
  • Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems (required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
